![]() ![]() I'm able to write Python code very well off of the top of my head now and like I said I taught myself just from plain uncommented code and seeing what happened when I changed it around and what different parts did, it's just something that comes with time and I'm not really a "read a book and learn it" type of person and probably would have forgot most of the stuff by the time I was done reading. There's also examples and whatnot out there but I would encourage you to use your own code and make it a learning experience. I learned as I was and when I wanted to do something I didn't know how to I looked in the Panda3D documentation for a certain function and thought long and hard about how to do it the cleanest way. ![]() I learned Python from a 300 line chunk of Toontown code, I taught myself from that and I've never read any book on Python or anything and I feel quite confident in my skills. I did however create all of the content solely by myself and I would encourage the OP to learn to understand Python before trying to change things around or take a look at the code and start to learn by trial and error. ![]() The people who were on the server were there because I was tired of playing alone (they were close friends) and I guess it did speed up the testing aspect a bit. ![]()
